Calhoun County criminal records sit with more than one custodian. Sheriff reports begin in St. Matthews, many bookings are handled in Orangeburg, court files remain with the proper Calhoun court, and statewide history comes from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. Corrections and registry records use still other systems. This site organizes those official routes so readers can identify the right portal, counter, mailing address, or phone line before making a request.

Why We Built This Site

South Carolina provides several public access routes, yet each answers a different question. The Calhoun County agency directory lists the Sheriff's Office and Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Detention Center for reports and current local custody. Clerk Robert Brockington's office maintains General Sessions case files at the county courthouse. SLED CATCH supplies a name-based, fingerprint-supported state history, and the South Carolina Sex Offender Registry is searched separately.
